What to expect in a Discovery Flight...
- We reserve a two hour block of time with your Instructor. We want to give you this opportunity to look around the Schoolhouse and meet everyone on the team.
- Your discovery flight will start with an introduction to your plane and demonstrate a preflight walkaround inspection.
- Your CFI will guide you through all checklists and procedures, including engine start and runup. And don’t be intimidated by the radios… we’ll do all the talking.
- Then it’s you at the controls for an immediate takeoff and breathtaking flight of 30-40 minutes. Climbs, descents, turns, and more. Maybe you’d like to see your house from the air… It’s your choice.
